“Jordyn may be the best history professor I’ve had so far. They are very knowledgeable on the subject of human
rights, both in Canada and in other places around the world, and they’re obviously very passionate about the topic.
The lectures are interesting and engaging, and they are able to bring in so many examples and facilitate good
classroom discussions. They assigned weekly mini assignments that were not only helpful with this course, but will
be helpful and practical for all future academic studies. They have relevant work and learning experiences that help
with teaching this course effectively. The course itself is very organized with weekly topics and assigned readings.
The instructor was able to adapt efficiently and effectively when they had to cancel a few lectures due to illness.
Overall, they create a very good and welcome classroom environment and are able to cover these hard subjects in
a sensitive and compassionate matter. I couldn’t think of someone better to teach this course!”
